Exhibition-When the Carnival is over

From August 9 - 31, JME Pool will unveil a number of new works in her SOLO exhibition, ‘When the Carnival is Over".
In this latest exhibition at Seaside Artists Gallery; JME Pool has taken her erstwhile dark memories and blended them with subtle religious symbolism and playful innuendo to form the axis of her unique world. The ‘Carnival’ symbolising the loss of innocence that occurs as the inner child becomes an adult in an often cruel and unfair world.

This poster features the work of 56 international artists and designers.

Exhibition- "So Fresh"

Opening on October 16, JME Pool will be exhibiting new works in the group exhibition "So Fresh" at Paddington Contemporary Fine Art, Sydney.

"Across the Board" Art Show
3 August, 2007
JME Pool has been selected as one of 100 artists to participate in the Across the Board Art Show.
This show, with thanks to Amnesia Skateboards, features 100 non-functional skateboard decks recreated as works of art by 100 Australian and international artists.
The show opens on the 3rd of August and runs for one week at Wallspace Gallery, 25-27 Brisbane St, Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia. 100% of all sale proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Council NSW.
Other artists involved in the exhibition include the likes of Ken Done, David Bromley, Anthony Lister, Kill Pixie |

Exhibition- "Vibrant"

JME Pool is pleased to announce her participation in the exhibition entitled "Vibrant" at the Basement Gallery, Knoxville, Tennessee.
The exhibition entitled "Vibrant" will feature Australian Artist Jean-Maree Pool, Patrick McDonough of Madison, Wisconsin and Tennessee's Jessica Hill in this 3 person show!
This is an excellent show and The Basement is pleased to be the first to exhibit the works of these artist in Knoxville. The Opening Reception will be on Friday July 6th from 5-11PM. Please contact Basement Gallery for more information. |

The Churchie is a prestigious and highly respected competition, which aims to recognise, expose and promote emerging artists in both the public and commercial arenas. The exhibition has developed a reputation for showing some of the finest work produced by emerging artists.

Exhibition- "Four Strokes"

This exhibition will mark the Official Opening of Bella Arts Gallery, located within the newly constructed Spring Lake Metro Complex in Springfield Lakes. The Gallery represents a mix of established and emerging artists and deals predominately in contemporary Australian art.

Hopesmiths Project
The Hopesmith's Project is a group of talented and passionate artists, musicians and businesses working to raise money for Childhood Cancer Support inc. www.clcs.org.au
In order to raise funds for this cause an acoustic cd is being produced featuring the songs of local song writers such as Bobby Flynn and Tyrone Noonan and works of local artists including Jenna Dawkins and JME Pool
The cd launch will be held on the 22nd of December at the Zoo.

Originally launched in Washington in 2000, Ladyfest was devised as a platform to showcase, encourage and celebrate the talents of women and girls around the world. Dolly Did It T-Shirts Available now !!
After a bit of legal red tape courtesy of Dolly Magazine, JME is now launching her limited edition range of T-Shirts featuring Hand-Sewn prints of four of her original works.
JME has a range of 50 shirts in each design and these will never be re-printed.
Designs are: 'Angel' , 'Mary' , 'Lollipop' and 'Things that go Bump'
The shirts are $35 each and available in a wide range of colours and styles.
